And here we are introducing another guest, the very beautiful Maanya Arora, Singer/Musician/Performer.
In this decade of digital music instead of the cassette, CDs, etc. The talents are not hidden now as compared to the past. The sudden change was shown because of the technology and its improvement from time to time. And so Google created a special platform that's is Youtube which was specially meant for showing up your talents to the world. And Maanya Arora is also one of such creator who's life or says her career has been changed.
Her story starts from going to record a Bollywood song in a studio suddenly, her friend's mind was changed on the way and she told her I'll write a song on the genre of Bhajan, and she wrote it and they recorded the song finally. And after uploading that video on Youtube, the audience over the Internet loved it a lot which change her life with 2.5 million views. This is also a good beginning to a journey of her career.
She had started her musical career at the age of 4 years and its something 19 years now. She told Bgs Raw that her first guru(teacher) was her father itself. Since her father also remains a singer since his childhood. By whom she learned what she is now. Her singing genre is basically Devotional & Cultural. With her sweet voice, she had explored the message love with her audience and so she had good followers on youtube.

Q. Tell us something about yourself?
Myself Maanya Arora, 23 years old girl, born and brought up in Faridabad and presently living in Mumbai. I have completed my masters from Mumbai University and now, a full-time musicianQ. Who inspired you or influenced you the most & how?
My dad is my biggest inspiration. He is a singer himself. Since childhood, I used to go with him to attend his concerts and events. Whatever I sing today is because of his effortsQ. What's your opinion about the modern musical age?
OPINION ABOUT THE MODERN MUSICAL AGE - People are getting more into independent music and youtube is such a big platform for all the independent artists. It should get more promotedQ. What preparations do you make before your concerts and creating new videos on youtube?
A lot of things goes around before making a new video and giving a live performance. Selection of song according to the choice of my audience and delivery of its emotions, feelings through my singing is the most important one |
Q. What qualities should good singer posses?
A good singer should be a good human being. I feel, music is a gift of God and a good singer is the one who preserves the preciousness of it. Being humble, down to earth, empathetic are few of the qualities that a good singer should possess.Q. Since how many years are you engaged & practicing singing?
I have been into music since my childhood. My dad is my first guru. I gave my first live performance at the age of 4. Started learning classical music at the age of 14.Q. What did you think to become in childhood?
I always aimed to become a singer.Q. What is your goal & the future plan?
My goal is to give good music to the people and promote devotional and cultural music. I want that this modern approach of the devotional music should be accepted worldwideQ. Do your family support you for your decisions?
Yes, my family completely supports me. They have motivated me at my every step in life. Whatever I am today, I owe to my parentsQ. Have you had any memorable experience that you would like to share with us?
Recording my first devotional track Shree Krishna Govind Hare Murare will always be my most memorable experience. I was going to record a Bollywood cover but on my way to the studio, a friend of mine insisted me to sing this bhajan and also wrote the lyrics. It changed everything |
Q. Besides your music, what things do you like and what makes you bored?
I like traveling, doing adventurous sports and there's nothing I am completely bored of. I try to enjoy every moment and I m a firm believer of this philosophy - ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARAQ. How long will you remember our The Bgs Raw Social Magazine?
