Steps to Apply for Passport in India
- Go to your nearest Common Service Center. Guys you can also apply yourself, but if you want me to recommend I'll suggest to go Cyber Cafe's.
- Carry your Documents. Guys if you want your verification to be done, you must carry your orginal documents, so that your details should be input properly, with no spell mistake. Even in father's name, address, pin code etc.
- Take fees with you. Guys to apply passport you must take money with you. The cost of pssport in 2019 is Rs. 1500/- for 36 pages and Rs. 2000/- for 60 pages. And for also internet charges sms notification charges are also taken.
- After successfull application you will be scheduled for appointment to passport office for document verification. Guy this days you no need to go far away for passport, many sub branches are been opened for you, just locate nearest passport kendra by asking the cyber cafe owner to fixed appointement in nearest office.
- Visit Passport Seva Kendra with you documents. You must carry the orginal copy with you becarefull of miss-handling, lossing your document.
- After the verification of your documents in office, you wil be given a file number. Keep itproperly for future required.
- Now its time for police verification, Guys it is mandatory to do police verification with your nerest police station. But you need not to worry about. Police will call you and you need to schedule yourself to meet and they will verify you. The police verification is done to verify that you do not have any criminal case or any such types of related case. And this process are done within 6-7 days from the document verification.

Guys I didn't told you further about my fathers documents rejected. While filling the form it is been asked that if you are 10th pass or below 10th. So if you are educated you must carry you marksheet or admit in orginal to passport office. But in my application it was 10th pass but he have lost all his documents like marksheet, admit, date of birth and all official documents of the past time. So he was not able to prove the ECR-Emmigration Check Required. If you want to know more about ECR just google it or click on the link What is ECR? So the documents was rejected. So guys if your documents is rejected for 3 times you will not able to contact for any means to the passport kendra. And no any amount are also refunded by the passport office. So be carefull with your decision and be confidential to your documents. I would tell you to ask any special center for good knowledge. Note: Do not go to any agents for any reference or you will loss your money.
